Blessed

Ladies, learn to know when you are being blessed.   Since starting Women Empowering Women, I have had the opportunity to come across some very blessed and highly favored women.   I have also had the opportunity to come across many women that need help.    I have blessed many and will continue to do so, but I will also correct those that I feel are taking advantage of anyone's kindness.

I have reached out to many women in need of inspiration, motivation and encouragement.  Many of the women that have beeen blessed through this website have reached out to help other women in need.  Now with everything good comes some bad!

Ladies, learn to accept a blessing as just that, a blessing.  Do not misuse nor take advantage of anyone that has reached out to help you.   Sadly, I have had to stop some women in their tracks. Many women (not all) I noticed just want a hand out, not a hand up.    I have had women that I have helped put on the right track, not bother to help another woman.   I have had women that just continously beg (just for the sake of taking something from you).  I have had women refuse to put in the work needed to advance themselves, their families and their community, but they are first in line when anything free is given.

I will continue to help those in need.  I will also continue to stop those that only want for self, those that want to drain you of everthing you have without putting in any work.

Be Blessed

Reaching Out

I want to talk about reaching out.  We must learn how to reach out to others to get the help we need.  There are many times we feel so alone, wishing we had someone to talk to, someone to help us with the kids, someone to bounce things off of, someone to let us know that everything will be alright.  Everyone needs someone to talk to, to confide in.

For whatever reason, many of us feel that we can handle everything ourself, we don't want anyone to know that we are feeling choked by everything going on in our life.  I am here to tell you that we were not put here to stay to self, to handle issues alone.  Reach out to people to help you through.   Reach out to the church, the community, a friend, a neighbor, a sister or brother, mother or father.  If you are feeling defeated, reach out and ask for help.

God did not mean for us to handle everything by ourselves.  God put us here to work together to inspire, uplift, motivate and educate each other.   It is sad that we have become such a "me" society that we have lost the very essence of life, working together.

My heartfelt blessings to those that are working on reaching out.  It is ok to ask for help.  To those that are the special ones that people are reaching out to for help, open your heart to inspire, motivate and educate those that come to you.

Be Blessed Always

Embrace Change and Your Success

I have been blessed to meet some very intelligent, well rounded women.  There is something that I feel should be pointed out.  Ladies, please do not be afraid of success.  As we continue to build our businesses, continue our education, obtain our degrees and certifications our confidence continues to grow.  Sometimes, when we see the fruit of our labor paying off, we get anxious and nervous about the next step.   Many of you do not have someone to build your confidence and root you on, this is why I encourage women to work together, motivate each other, inspire those in need.

As you reach your goal and see the light at the end of the tunnel, do not start doubting yourself.  Continue to stay in prayer, have confidence that you will succeed and walk with a bold authority.  God has given you all the tools you need to succeed, enjoy your success.   Know that you are not alone.  As long as your foundation, which is God, is strong, you will be just fine.  Change is scary, success is exciting and can be daunting.  Know that with each blessing and step of accomplishment is a responsibility.

Embrace your success.  Face change head on and without fear.  Know that you are blessed and not alone.

Blessings to You Always!

When Your Child Leaves Home

I have quite a few friends that are going through the empty nest syndrome.  You will and can get through it.  As our children grow older and start to leave us, you first get that feeling of eurphoria and then reality sets in, and you start feeling sad.  Ladies, this is a normal reaction.

First, congratulations on raising well rounded, well behaved, intelligent children.  Second, you are so blessed to have raised kids that strive to be better and make something of themselves.  Third, now it is your time to focus on you.   Take the time and think about what it is that you want to accomplish for you.

Now is the time to take that trip, start that business, meet new friends.  Enjoy yourself!

The empty nest feeling will pass and that feeling of eurphoria will return once you realize that you have accomplished something great, you have given the world our next senator, doctor, lawyer, engineer or president, and we thank you!

Enjoy Life and Be Blessed!

Repost: Without A Foundation

I received a lot of responses to this post and felt I should repost it, Enjoy and be Blessed!

Ladies, today's messge to you is about finding your foundation. This is beneficial to you and your family to be solid. My foundation is Christ, and through my faith and a solid foundation, I was able to overcome a lot of detrimental things that was thrown at me. Through my faith and a foundation, I was able to raise a strong family who leans not to their own understanding when things are tough, but understand that when you are on the right path in life, there are spiritual principalities that will come against you. Through my faith and a solid foundation, everything that I have asked for has been given, and then some.

If things are not going the way they should, find your foundation. Know that you are a child of God and that thing will get better. Know that he has not forgotten you and that he has given you the tools to overcome any adversity. Know that if there is a battle that you cannot fight, he will fight that battle for you.

Ladies, I know that sometimes things can get so bad in life that you want to give up. But, today is a new day with new opportunities. Whatever it is that you believe in to get you through tough times, this is your foundation. Make sure it is solid! Know that you are not alone. Know that if you want help to put a solid foundation under yourself and your family there are people who will be more than happy to help. Reach out and let someone know that your foundation is not solid and you are sinking. Find a church, a synagogue, a mosque, a temple, and if you are not religious, find somewhere positive, somewhere that feeds your spirit with hope and determination to overcome whatever adversities that have come your way.

Ladies, you set the tone for your household. Give your household something no one can take from them, a solid foundation in life.

Be Blessed!

RACISM IN AMERICA

Now that the federal budget has been passed, I am outraged at the political games that has been played because our president is black.   Now whether you want to believe it or not, RACISM is alive, festering and showing it's ugly head.   How dare you allow our country financial situation to get to this point because you don't want to DEAL WITH A BLACK MAN.

Let's call it what it is people, blatant racism.   This is not the first time we have been on the brink of losing our credibility, this has been going on down to the wire for many administrations, but this is the first time our ability to work it out and still be able to provide for the AMERICAN PEOPLE without losing our credibility has been jeopardized.   This has nothing to do with democrats or republican party lines, this is simply RACISM.

No president in the history of America has had to deal with an ENTIRE party REFUSING to work with him.  No president in the history of America has had to deal with the well being of American Citizens being jeopardized due to an ENTIRE party REFUSING to bend on policies and issues that will keep our country strong and funtioning.    This has nothing to do with politics, this is simply because HE IS BLACK.

It is time to stop pretending, stop being undercover, stop using politics for your reasoning and admit that it is not in your fiber to allow a man that is not a white man take control.   Our president has been called a "Tar Baby", A Boy, A Nigga, A Coon etc, by WHITE MALE POLITICIANS in public, in the press.   How dare you!!!    Where is the outcry?   Where is the lashing by the media to those that has disrepected our president.    I know that not too long ago when GEORGE BUSH was running this country into the ground, if ANYONE spoke against that administration, they were immediately considred UNPATRIOTIC, A TRAITOR.

Yes America, Racism is alive and festing  right here, and the head of the KKK is running the REPUBLICAN PARTY..    Also, don't blame the Black Man for this shit, blame Republican Representative Cantor for holding our country hostage and putting us in this mess...it was his suggestion that the Republican party stall to make our BLACK PRESIDENT look bad....and it worked!

I have news for ALL REDNECKS, KKK, TEA PARTY and anyone else that has a problem with people of color, it is not people of color that is running this country to the ground, and we are not going anywhere!!!   Deal with it!   It is you and your sick entitlement issues.

Inner Peace

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

I believe in God.  Ladies, whatever your belief is, lean on it.  Inner peace is very important for your well being.  I speak on picking your battles, standing strong and working together alot, it is something that I believe in.   We will always be bombarded with issues, that is life.   Many issues are at the hands of others, many are of our own doing.  Whether large or small, dealing with everday issues will eventually take a toll on your physical and mental well being.

In order to withstand, we must take care of ourself.  We are so accustomed to movement that it is difficult to slow down and re-connect with self.   Take the time and find your inner peace.  You can try yoga, meditation, 30 minutes of spiritual reflection and absorb.  You must simmer down before you flame out, burn out or simply check out.

Your inner peace is your foundation.  Nurture it, feed it and watch it manifest.  Whatever issues you face, know that you will be victorious if your foundation is strong.

Be Blessed and Peaceful

Good Friends Are Forever

If you are blessed to have good friends in your life, cherish them.  So many people do not have good friends.  There are also many people who do not know how to be a friend.

A friend is someone who cares about you unconditionally.   They are rare.  A friend is there when you make stupid mistakes, experience a heart break, when you are grieving, when you lose your job, when you are sick.   Yes, a friend is indeed very special.

Learn to recognize who your friends are.  A friend will not continuously take from you.  A friend will not leave you to solve your issues on your own.   A friend will not make you feel less than.  A friend will not continously stroke your ego when you need to be taken down a notch.  A friend will help you realize your full potential.

We should all work to become a better friend.   Look out for each other.  Compliment, inspire and motivate your friends.

Remember to be blessed to have good friends, you must learn to be a good friend.

Be Blessed!
